Michael B. Rogers, DDS
Dr. Rogers is a native of Southern California. He graduated with honors from Harvard University in 1985, and then attended dental school at UCLA. Dr. Rogers completed a General Practice Residency at the Sepulveda Veteran’s Hospital in 1991.
Dr. Rogers and his wife Terri spend their free time working in the garden with their dogs Aussie and Cruzin. They also like to travel, and try to visit a different spot in the Caribbean every year.
Dr. Rogers’ residency training included plastic surgery, oral surgery and emergency medicine. Since graduating from UCLA, Dr. Rogers has received over two thousand hours of continuing education, constantly striving to improve his skills and knowledge. He has attended numerous courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and also speaks at local informational seminars about the benefits of regular dental care as well as cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnea and TMJ disorders.

Dawn joined Fairlington Dental in September 2001 as Office Administrator. She is originally from North Carolina but has lived in Idaho, South Carolina and Germany. Dawn began her dental career in 1990 and has experience in general, orthodontic and pediatric dentistry. She resides in Maryland with her husband of 30+ years. Holli is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a BioChem Degree and also holds a Dental Hygiene Degree from Fortis College. Hailey is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a History Degree and is currently attending Charleston Law School in SC. Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies
Liz was born in the Philippines but grew up in Honolulu, HI. She moved to Virginia in 1992 and joined the Fairlington team that same year. She resides in Herndon with her husband Ron and son Alex.
Liz is Dr. Rogers’ Treatment Coordinator. She received certification from the Academy for Advanced Radiographic Studies, the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and attended the TMJ Course at the Institute for Advanced TMJ Studies.
She and her family are members of the Heritage Fellowship Church in Reston, VA. Liz received her 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 2012 and enjoys working with the kids at Fox Mill Tae Kwon Do. Driving Alex to his multiple after-school activities keeps her ever busy.
Martha Del Rosario
Patient Care Coordinator
Martha joined the Fairlington Dental family in October 2005. She has business and dental assisting experience in the pediatric, endodontic, and general dentistry fields. Martha grew up in Falls Church, VA and she currently resides in Springfield with her husband and three children. Her hobbies include volunteering as a CCD teacher, playing soccer, zumba dancing, attending her Nathalie’s Quinceanera events and Chris’s Lacrosse games and with visiting her Vanessa at University of Miami.
Sally DiCesare, RDH
Graduate of East Tennessee State University
After growing up in a Navy family, Sally was delighted to marry and settle in Alexandria where she and her husband raised two daughters. One who lives and teaches in Arlington. The other is in Worcester, MA working in the gaming industry with a startup company but considering returning to school for her Masters.
Sally has actively practiced Dental Hygiene since graduating from East Tennessee State University in 1978. She is excited how the profession is growing and changing with new technologies and new discoveries in prevention.
In her spare time, Sally loves working with student and young professionals who are overwhelmed and so stressed they cannot perform and live to their highest potential and desires. She guides them in releasing the restrictions that are holding them back.
LaVonn Hardy, RDH
LaVonn joined Fairlington Dental in October 1998. She is originally from Danville, Virginia, where she completed her 900-hour vocational training in dental assisting while in high school. She then received an Associate of Applied Science degree with a major in Dental Hygiene (Magna Cum Laude) from Northern Virginia Community College. LaVonn has over 22 years of experience in many aspects of dentistry. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, she was Dr. Rogers’s Treatment Coordinator for 6 years. She frequently attends continuing education courses to increase her level of patient care. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and doing Zumba.
Vivien Reyes, RDH
Vivien joined Fairlington Dental in February 2012. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at Old Dominion University (Cum Laude) in 2001. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines and now permanently resides in Centreville VA with her husband, Rey and daughter, Rachel.
Prior to pursuing her career in Dental Hygiene in the United States, she practiced general dentistry in the Philippines for 7 years. She has had extensive experience in many fields of dentistry, highly focused on providing preventive, educational, and therapeutic services to help patients achieve their optimum oral health. She feels rewarded by helping people achieve their goals in dental care.
Vivien keeps her skills and knowledge up to date through various continuing education programs.
H. Lee O’Connor, RDH
Lee initially became a member of the Fairlington Dental team in 2000. Although she spent some time away from the office, she was thrilled to rejoin the team in 2013.
Lee grew up in Woodbridge. Over the years, she has moved all throughout the NOVA area and has settled in Loudoun County. She graduated from JMU in 1996 with a bachelors in Health Sciences. She then decided to pursue dental hygiene and graduated from ODU in 1998. One of her favorite part about practicing dental hygiene is being able to work with people of all ages.
When not in the office, Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. Some of their favorite activities include boating and fishing.
Ambar Alexander, Dental Assistant
Ambar joined Fairlington Dental in December 2014 as a dental assistant with over 12 years of experience. She grew up in Falls Church, VA where she resides with her husband, Jonathan, Grandmother Maria, and 3 daughters. In her spare time she helps her husband coach 7th and 8th grade select basketball. She also enjoys volunteering at her children’s school and being outdoors during summer.
